Geneva Lewis

Evelyn Crow Lewis, better known as Geneva, 82, of 5 D Street, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Albert Irving Crow and Martha Fleming Crow. Mrs. Lewis was also the wife of the late William (Bill) Lewis. She was retired from Inman Mills after 46 years of service. Mrs. Lewis was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. She had lived at Ashlan Village Assisted Living Facility since November 2008. Mrs. Lewis is survived by two daughters, Martha Golightly (husband Bobby) of Lyman and Brenda Condrey (husband Kenny) of Burlington, Colorado; one brother, James Crow (wife Nell) of Daytona, FL; one sister, Virginia (Jenny) Johnson of Inman; five grandchildren, Robby Golightly (wife Kim), Kim Keadle (husband Jim), Darrell Golightly, Eva Condrey, and Trevor Condrey; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gail Large; one brother, Crawford Crow; and three sisters, Gertrude Jackson, Minnie Cartee, and Mary Fowler.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Seawright Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel to celebrate her life with Reverend Henry Stanford officiating. The family will be at her residence at 5 D Street, Inman, SC.
