Evelyn Julia Phillips Birdno

Evelyn Julia Birdno, 85, of 176 Coates Road Inman, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Spartanburg Medical Center. 

Evelyn was born in Spartanburg on January 15, 1939, a daughter of the late Helen McElrath Phillips and Paul Phillips. She was the wife of Carl Willard Birdno of the home.

She retired from Milliken and Company and was a Baptist. 

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a son, Mike Birdno and his wife, Missi, of Inman, a daughter, Janet Grace of Irmo, S.C., six grandchildren, Jared Birdno (Lauren), Julia Yusuf (Omar), Skyler Birdno (Vienna), Will Grace, Nikki Birdno, Dylan Birdno, and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 10th at Good Shepherd Memorial Park in Boiling Springs conducted by Rev. Sean Fortner.
