Mary Evelyn White Cooper, 94, of 104 Crestview Drive, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at her residence. Evelyn was born in Glenn Springs, South Carolina on September 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Augustus Reuben and Esther Allen White. She was the widow of Eugene "Gene" Clarence Cooper. Evelyn was the retired Owner and Operator of the Merle Norman Cosmetics store in Inman, South Carolina. She was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Alta Mack Women's Circle.
Evelyn is survived by; a grandson, Andrew Cooper and his wife, Jessica of the home; a granddaughter, Katherine Cooper of Greensboro, North Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Chris Cooper of Greensboro, North Carolina; a sister, Polly Murphy of Seneca, South Carolina and a great-grandchild, Keller Cooper of the home.
In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was predeceased by: a son, Ray Cooper; a sister, Agnes Smith and two brothers, Robert and Calvin White.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Seawright Funeral Home conducted by Chaplain Gary Jordan. A private interment will follow the service.
The family is at the residence.
