Mary Evelina Bagwell Underwood, 79, of 439 Woodland Ave, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, July 14th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs Underwood was born in Easley, SC on August 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Vera (Holiday) and Edward Bagwell.
She was the widow of Jesse Underwood, retired from Kempson Rexall and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Smith and husband Danny of Travelers Rest, SC; a son, Steve Underwood, of Inman. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Terri Lynn Cooley and a grandson, Michael Todd Smith.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Seawright funeral Chapel, Inman at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 16th. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
