Eva Mae Burgin Waddell, 95, of 340 Carleton Circle, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, South Carolina. Eva was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on April 12, 1922, a daughter of the late Columbus Johnson Burgin and Ada Cordelia Hayes Burgin. She was the widow of Troy McCord Waddell and of the Baptist faith.
Eva is survived by two sons Roger B. Waddell and his wife, Judy, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Wayne Waddell and his wife, Cindy, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; a granddaughter, Barbara Ann Waddell and a great-granddaughter, Adrianne Gillespie.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Waddell was predeceased by three brothers; C.D. Burgin, O.L. Burgin, Herbert Burgin and a sister, Margaret Green.
A private graveside service will be held. The families are at their respective homes.
