Eugene Phillips, 80, of 135 Blue Ridge Circle, Campobello, SC, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at his residence. Eugene was born in Green Creek, NC on May 10, 1939, a son of the late Maybell Spencer Phillips and Ernest Phillips and was the husband of Jeanette Burrell Phillips. He retired from Inman Mills and was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Landrum.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter; Sheila Jackson (Charlie) of Sunnyview, NC, two sons; Ricky Phillips (Connie) of Georgia, Kenny Phillips (Kathy) of Rutherfordton, NC, a sister; Louise Raburn of Inman, a brother; Larry Phillips (Martha) of Campobello; grandchildren; Neal Day, Ashley Phillips, Danielle Justice, Shelly Phillips, K.J. Phillips, Keaton Phillips, Reagan Jackson; and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Bible Baptist Church from 2:00-3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be follow at 3:00 PM at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum, SC with Dr. Tommy Turner officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice, 529 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
