Mr. Eugene Clarence Cooper, 85, of 104 Crestview Drive, Inman passed away Saturday, July 28th, 2007 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg, SC.
Mr. Cooper was born in Woodruff, SC on September 17, 1921, the son of the late W. P. and Annie Belle Frye Cooper and was the husband of Mary Evelyn (White) Cooper.
He is survived by one son: Ray Cooper of Inman, one grandson: Andrew Cooper of Inman and one granddaughter: Katherine Cooper of Greensboro, NC.
He retired from Community Cash, was a member of Inman Presbyterian Church, and served in the U.S. Army in WW II.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 30th, with Rev. Gordon Raynal officiating.
Burial will be in Glenn Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Pauline, SC.
The family will receive friends Monday 10-11 AM at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 154 Mile Stone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
