Eugene "Gene" Anderson

Eugene "Gene" Anderson, 88, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at his residence.

Gene was born in Spartanburg County on November 8, 1937, a son of the late Virginia (Rogers) and Ellis Anderson. He was the husband of Geraldine "Jerry" (Holden) Anderson. He is survived by two daughters, Lynn Loftis and her husband Nathan and Shana Gene Wolf; two grandchildren, Brittany Campbell Millwood and Bradford Martin Campbell; a great granddaughter, Shelby Millwood; two sisters, Mary Workman and Shirley Jackson; one brother, Wayne Anderson.

He was the retired owner of Fat's Esso, an avid fisherman and a member of Inman First Baptist Church.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC with Dr. Paul Moore, Mrs. Lynn Loftis and Rev. Brad Atkins officiating. Visitation will follow the service.
