Ethel Mosley Sloan, 74, of 1180 Midnight Road died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Campobello, she was a daughter of the late Charles Hubert and Louise Finch Mosley. She was the wife of Johnny Melrose Sloan. She retired from Spartan Blueprinters and was a member of Green Point Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a granddaughter Kristie Lamb and her husband Travis of Boiling Springs, sisters, Viola Burns and Elizabeth Poteat of Inman, Avalon Medley of Campobello, Emma Ravan of Landrum, brothers, J.L. Mosley of Landrum, Raymond Mosley of Campobello, two great grandchildren, Brittany and Johnathan Lamb of Boiling Springs. She was predeceased by a son, Stephen Fowler, brothers, Wesley and James Mosley and a sister, Muriel Oliver.
The family is at the home and will receive friends at the home Tuesday, May 26, 2009 7:00 until 9:00. A memorial service will be held at her home at 7:00pm Tuesday May 26 conducted by Rev. David Lancaster.
Flowers should be omitted and memorials made to Green Point Baptist Church, 1391 Rainbow Lake Road, Inman, SC 29349.
