Estelle Kennedy Revels, 84, of 26 Lude Johnson Blvd., passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Spartanburg Hospital For Restorative Care. Estelle was born in Polk County, North Carolina on January 16, 1932, a daughter of the late Robert Junior and Elvia Ella Higgins Kennedy and was the widow of John W. "JW " Revels, Sr.
She is survived by a daughter; Julie R. Perry of Campobello; three sons; Mark Tracy Revels, of Campobello, Roger J. Revels and his companion Judy Lister, of Campobello, Don L. "Bo" Revels, of Inman; a sister ; Martha K. Williams of Spartanburg; a brother; Paul W. Kennedy of Linconton, North Carolina; four grandghildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, John W. Revels, Jr.; three sisters, Mary K. Eplee, Carrie K. Emory, Ruthie Mae K. Lynch; a son-in-law, Edward Perry and a daughter-in-law, Lynn Revels.
Visitation will be held, Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Seawright Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Mitch Crow and Mr. Harold Page. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Landrum.
