Estelle Ballenger Craig

Mrs. Estelle Ballenger Craig, 93, of 2100 Ballenger Rd. died Monday, January 31st, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Craig was born in Inman, S.C. on April 28, 1917, the daughter of the late T. J. and Pearla (Tinsley) Ballenger. She was the widow of the late J.R. Craig Sr. and had retired from Camphaven Nursing Home. She was a faithful member of Inman First Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Randy Craig and his wife Carole of Inman, Rev. Arthur Craig and his wife Barbara of Houston, Texas, one daughter, Jane Stevens and her husband Paul of Inman, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Mrs. Craig was predeceased by a grandson, Staff Sgt. Brian Craig.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Inman First Baptist Church with Rev. Arthur Craig and Dr. Paul Moore officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. The family is at the home.
