Emma M. Suddeth
Emma Miller Suddeth, 82, formerly of 250 Jackson Rd. died Friday, September 23rd, 2011 at Magnolia Manor of Inman. Mrs. Suddeth was born in Spartanburg County on July 8, 1929, the daughter of the late Theodore W. and Alma Lou (Owens) Miller. She had retired from the Spinning Dept. of Inman Mills and was a member of Riverside Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by five sons, Doug Suddeth and his wife Karen of Inman, Dean Suddeth and his wife Debra of Marietta, SC, Dale Suddeth and his wife Kathy of Chesnee, John Suddeth and his wife Peggy of Holly Springs, and Danny Wayne Suddeth and his wife Donna of Landrum. There are nineteen grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and a son, Donald Suddeth , a daughter, Doris Mills and a grandson, Johnny Suddeth. Emma Suddeth was the last survivor of her immediate family.
The family will receive friends Monday, Sept. 26, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Joey Mills. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman. The family will be at the home of a granddaughter, Sandy Peace at 460 Carriage Gate Dr., Wellford, SC.
