Emma Lou Roach, 82, of Spartanburg, South Carolina, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. Emma was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on November 19, 1938, a daughter of the late George Reasor Wheeler and Frances Cochran Wheeler. She was the widow of Oland Grady Roach.
Mrs. Roach was a former employee with Butte Knit and a retired employee with Spartan Mills/ Startex Plant, and a member of Whitney Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Roach is survived by two daughters, Robin Countryman and her husband, Jeff, of Inman, South Carolina; Deena Lee, of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Randy Roach and his companion, Michelle Whitesides, of Inman, South Carolina. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Georgia Roach, Cory Roach, Shawn Lee, Ashley Lee and three great-grandchildren.
Cryptside Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, September 27, 2021, at Greenlawn Heritage Mausoleum Chapel, conducted by, Rev. Andrew Fischer. Visitation will follow the service at the mausoleum.
