Mrs. Emilie Fowler, 85, of 295 E. Pearl Street Spartanburg died Saturday, February 14th, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Fowler was born in Spartanburg on September 6, 1923, the daughter of the late Joe and Minnie Cantrell Belcher and was the widow of Roy Fowler.

She retired from S&S Manufacturing and was a member of First Baptist Church, North Spartanburg. She is survived by five daughters, Linda Lister of Campobello, Ima Jean Horton of Spartanburg, Vickie Dukeman of Boiling Springs, Donna Gibbs of Boiling Springs, Tina Biggerstaff of Campobello, five sons, Richard Fowler of Boiling Springs, Steve Fowler of Spartanburg, Rodney Fowler of Spartanburg, Wayne Fowler of Spartanburg, Darrell Fowler Spartanburg, 33 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Mark Fowler and David Fowler.

The family is at the home of her daughter, Donna Gibbs at 5 Merrimon Avenue, Green Acres Subdivision.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 1:OOpm on Tuesday, February 17th. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
