Mrs. Elsie Nora Cox, 85, of 82 N. Main Street Inman died Monday, September 10th, 2007 at Golden Age Nursing Home.
Mrs. Cox was born in Campobello, SC on May 30, 1922 and was the daughter of the late William and Dora Henson Pruitt.
She was the widow of Clyde Carl Cox Sr. and was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce C. Hines of Duncan, Elaine C. Reeves of Lyman, two sons, James Timothy Cox and Michael Raymond Cox both of Duncan, one brother, William "Bill" Pruitt of Havre-De Grace, Maryland. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and was predeceased by one son, Clyde Carl Cox Jr.
She was a homemaker and formerly resided in Duncan.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home at 11:OOam on Thursday, September 13th, with the Rev. Glenn Gordon officiating. Burial will be in Wood Memorial Park in Greer, S.C.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Wednesday 7-9:00pm. at Seawright Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills 130 Forest Glen Drive Columbus, NC 28722.
