Ella Mae Embry Wright

Ella Mae Wright, 75, of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Born in Union County on January 25, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Bonnie (Green) Embry and James Leatus Embry and was the wife of the late Jesse Andrew Wright.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed singing and her family and friends loved listening to her sing. She also had a great love for Dr. Pepper.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Henderson (Rodney); two sons, Bobby Taylor (Christy) and Stanley Wright; three sisters, Sandra Bragg, Shirley Lundeen and Diane Netherton along with five grandchildren, Jason Owens (Abby), Lisa Henderson, DeAnn Solesbee, Will Wright and Lilly Wright and three great grandchildren, Hadleigh Owens, Alana Owens and Colton Owens.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by her grandson, Taylor Owens and her sister, Vonda Henderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Glenn Rusher officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
