Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Hines Wimberly, 95, of 106 Crestview Drive Inman, passed away Saturday, October 31st, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum.
Lib was born in Spartanburg on November 20, 1919; a daughter of the late Belle Waters Hines and W.L. Hines and was the widow of James L. Wimberly.
She attended Cecil's Business College, retired from the J.F. Floyd Mortuary, where she worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years, and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Fidelis Matrons Sunday School Class.
She is survived by a daughter; Pam W. Blackwood and her husband, Eber of Inman, two grandsons; Bob Riggins of Charlotte, Jim Blackwood of Inman, one great granddaughter; Annabelle Blackwood of Inman, and one brother; James Hines of North Charleston, S.C.. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also predeceased by a brother; Robert Hines of Inman.
The family is at the home of her daughter at 5870 New Cut Road and will receive friends there anytime, as well as at the cemetery following the service.
A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 3rd, with Dr. Paul Moore officiating.
