Willie Elizabeth "Libby" Brock Netherton, 79, formerly of 808 Jackson St., Spartanburg, died Monday, October 1, 2007 at Camp Care Nursing Home in Inman, SC.
A native of Lenoir, N. C., she was the daughter of the late Willard Clarence and Helen Elizabeth Ledwell Brock and the widow of Otis Oscar Netherton. She had retired from Spartanburg Stainless and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by a son, Jim Netherton of Inman, a daughter, Susan Dionne, two step daughters, Becky Riggs and Ann Welborn and a brother, J. B. Brock, all of Spartanburg and a sister, Louise Bullman of Pauline, S. C. There are 5 Grandchildren, 3 step Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, 2:00 P. M. at Seawright Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Kenneth Cash and Tommy Sparks conducting the service. Pallbearers will include Heath Trantham, Mike Brock, Andrew Bolton, Matt Toney, Jonathan E. Bolton and Jonathan C. Bolton. The burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Spartanburg.
The family are at their respective homes and will receive friends today, Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007 from 7-9 P. M at the funeral home.
