Elizabeth "Lib" Mosley Poteat, 77, of 9710 Asheville Hwy. passed away Monday, June 2nd, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Poteat was born in Campobello, SC on January 27, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Louise (Finch) and Charles Hubert Mosley. She was the widow of Vernon H. Poteat and had been married over 55 years. She was the co-owner of Poteat Mobile Home Supplies for over 40 years and was a member of the Dove Assembly Church.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth V. Poteat, three sisters, Emma Ravan, Viola Burns, Avalon Medley, two brothers, Raymond Mosley, J. L. Mosley, a step grandson, Dustin West, two granddaughters, Emma Poteat, Sara Poteat Sutton (Ken) and a great granddaughter, Arianna Poteat. She was predeceased by a son, Mark Warren Poteat, two brothers, Wesley and James Mosley and two sisters, Murial Oliver and Ethel Sloan.
Graveside memorial services will be held this Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC conducted by Rev. Joe Mosley & Rev. Gene Prince. All friends and family are encouraged to dress casually if they prefer.
The family is requesting that all food and flowers be omitted.
