Elizabeth "Betty" Gibbs
Elizabeth "Betty" (Kelly) Gibbs, 87, formerly of Inman, SC died Friday , Nov. 29, 2013 in the Windsor House in Spartanburg, SC. Mrs. Gibbs was born on July 16, 1926 in Glens Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Ethel Borden Kelly. She was the widow of Robert "Bob" Gibbs and was a member of the Dormansville Methodist Church in NY. She had retired as an office manager with Shell Oil Company in Albany, NY and was a former volunteer at Mary Black Hospital in Spartanburg. SC. She also worked with Manpower. A few years ago, Betty and her husband Bob were very frequent contributors to the Stroller Column in the Spartanburg Herald. In addition to several family members she is survived by a devoted friend, Joyce Clary of Inman, SC
