Edward Shipman

Inman, SC---Mr. Edward George Shipman, 93, of 51 N. Main Street passed away on Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at Inman Healthcare. Born in Spartanburg, SC on August 4, 1918, he was the son of the late George and Hattie Belle (Clayton) Shipman and was the husband of the late Mrs. Evelyn Shipman. He was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church and was retired from Spartan Mills. Mr. Shipman is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Friday, November 18, 2011 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Fred Brown Officiating.
