Edward Robert Perry, 64, passed away Wednesday, November 24,2010 after a long illness. He was the son of the late Edward R. Perry, Jr and Alvah Neves Perry. He was the owner of Ed Perry Hardware and former president of Ed Perry Auto Parts.
Edward will especially be remembered by his loving family. Survivors include his wife of forty years, Julie Revels Perry, one son, Rob Perry and Reana Young of Beaufort, SC, and one daughter, Angela Wood and her husband Ken of Taylors, SC, three sisters and their husbands, Jean Gentry and Eddie of Panama City, FL, Judy Martin and Jerry of Spartanburg and Debbie Brown and Dean of Waynesville, NC, one step-sister, Marie Stone and her husband Marshall of Hilton Head, eight grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews. Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Estelle K. Revels and four brothers-in-law, Roger Revels, Don Revels, Tracy Revels and Johnnie Burnett. He was predeceased by his special grandmother, Anna Neves, two sisters, Barbara Ann Burnett, Linda Pruitt and one brother, Terry Michael Perry.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 29 at 2:00 PM at the Seawright Funeral Chapel conducted by Revs John Smith and Michael Cogdill. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Landrum. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
