Edward Spivey Howard

Edward Spivey Howard passed away at his home on October 09, 2023.  He was the son of the late Lillian Howard Pfaelzer.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was of the baptist faith. Edward was a well known home builder, painter and contractor for the Spartanburg area before he retired.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Janice Owens Howard.  In addition to his wife, Edward is survived by three children, Karen Howard, Eddie Howard and his wife Tammy, and Chris Howard. He has three grandchildren, Kristen Hames (Josh), Travis Howard (Misty), and Amber McDowell along with seven great grandchildren, Gunnar, Lathan, Kyrie, Charleigh, Avery, Letty, and Dawsyn. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina with Rev. Michael Owenby officiating.  Memorial donations may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303.
