Edna Loretta Maxwell, 90, of 126 Cothran Circle Spartanburg, passed away Tuesday, December 22nd at her home.
She was born in Cherokee County on July 10, 1925, a daughter of the late Eunice Allison Ledford and Millard Ledford. She had worked as a waitress and was a baptist. She is survived by her soulmate of over 50 years, Jerry Prince of the home; a daughter; Linda Maxwell Gibson (Adam) of Spartanburg, a son; Ronnie Maxwell (Sue) of Inman, a sister; Barbara Delancey of Inman, two granddaughters; Crissy Melton and Karen Melton, and one great grandson; Blake Melton. In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by two brothers; Neal and R.C. Ledford, two sisters; Hazel McClure and Ann Burdette, and a granddaughter; Cindy Maxwell.
A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, at 3:00 on Saturday, December 26th, with Rev. Scott Lewellyn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dove Broadcasting, 3409 Rutherford Road Ext Taylors, SC 29687.
