Edna Jean Johnson

Edna Jean Johnson, 90,of 290 North Grove Medical Park Drive, Spartanburg, SC, formerly of 1131 Compton Bridge Rd. Inman, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at White Oak at North Grove in Spartanburg. Edna was born in Campobello, SC on February 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Etta Kathleen (Fain) Alverson and Furman Loyd Alverson.

She was the widow of Carroll Kistler Johnson, a homemaker and a member of Gramling Methodist Church.

Edna is survived by a son, Barry Johnson and wife Sheri, of Inman, SC, 2 granddaughters, Kaitlin Guffey and husband Michael of Campobello, SC and Amber Purcell of Indiana and 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Brett Johnson.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, November 21st at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Rev Rick Brown officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
