Inman, SC---Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Ward Branch, 85, of 320 Senn Road Inman passed away Sunday, June 21st, 2009 at Hospice House in Landrum, SC.
Mrs. Branch was born in Williamston, SC on November 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Joseph Thomas and Essie Lee (Bearden) Ward. She was the widow of Clarence K. Branch, Sr..
She is survived by 2 daughters: Brenda Huffman of Inman, Thelma Blackwell and husband Michael of Campobello, 2 sons: Clarence Ray Branch and wife Rhonda of Winston Salem, NC, David Branch and wife Sue of Winston Salem, NC, 1 sister: Bertha Branch of Inman, 1 brother: Alvin Ward of Huntsville, AL, 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
She was formerly employed at Jackson Mills and Inman Mills and was a member of Inman First Freewill Baptist Church.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Inman First Free Will Baptist Church, at 11 :00 AM on Tuesday, June 23rd, with Rev Shawn Fortner and Rev Tommy Turner officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Memorial Cemetery in Wellford, SC
