Edna Emery Donahoo Blackwell, 100, of 8020 White Avenue Spartanburg, formerly of Earl Street, Wellford, passed away Tuesday, June 12th, at Magnolia Place of Spartan burg.
She was born in Cooley Springs on November 11, 1911, a daughter of the late Elisha Thompson and Robert Mack Emery. She was the widow of William Howard Blackwell and was first married to late Albert Donahoo. She retired from Jackson Mill and was a member of Jackson Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Doris Grabarkiewicz of Boiling Springs, a son, Ronnie Donahoo of Greenville, a sister, Zerman Loftis of Spartanburg, a brother, Perry Emery of Johnston, SC, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren.
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday 10-11:OOam at Jackson Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at Jackson Baptist Church in Wellford at 11:OOam on Friday, June 15th, with Rev. Jim McMakin officiating. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park in Duncan.
