Edith Marlene Wilds

 Edith Marlene Wilds, 85, of 332 Rexford Drive in Moore, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at her home.

Marlene was born in Spartanburg on July 23, 1938, a daughter of the late Grace McGraw Harris and Albert Shirley and was the widow of J.R. Wilds.

She was a 1956 graduate of Spartanburg High School and retired from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman and attended Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Moore. She was a longtime active member of Inman Chapter 169, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Bryant and her husband, Randall of Inman, a son, Scott Wilds and his wife, Patty, of Spartanburg, six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Graveside Services for the family will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1st at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman conducted by Mr. Doug O'Shields. Order of the Eastern Star rites will be performed at the graveside.
