Inman, SC---Mr. Edgar Earl Camp, 90, of 111 Holly Drive passed away, Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008 at his residence. He was married to Inez Mathis Camp for 69 years who survives him of the home. Mr. Camp was the son of the late James and Martha Cash Camp and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. He was a mason, member of the Forest View Masonic Lodge # 379 and was a US Army veteran of WW II. He was the former owner of Ideal Fuel Company.
In addition to his wife Inez, he is survived by a son, Wayne Camp and his wife Dee Snelgrove Camp of Inman, a sister, Maude C. Turner of Asheville, N. C. , two grandchildren, Alesia C. Martin and her husband Mike, Timothy Wayne Camp and his wife Laura and three great grandchildren, Emily and Amanda Camp and Sarah Martin. He was predeceased by five brothers, and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Home, Inman, SC, at 2 PM on Saturday, December 27th, with Rev. Mark Williams and Chaplain Bobby Lindsey officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday immediately after the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give special thanks to Mr. Camp's Care Givers: April, Cindi, Glenda, and Sylvia and to Interim Hospice for the love and kindness shown to them. The family is at the home.
