Eddie Dale Ridings

Eddie Dale Ridings, 57, of 511 South Irwin Ave. Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017. Born in Spartanburg, SC on November 7, 1960 he was a son of the late Mr. Robert Daniel Ridings and Mrs. Ima Jean Scoggins Ridings.

Eddie was employed at Converse College where he worked in maintenance. He was also previously employed with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System where he also worked in maintenance.

He is survived by four brothers, Donnie Dameron of Simpsonville, SC, Daniel Ridings of Paisley, FL, Gary Ridings of Campobello, SC and Harry Ridings of Inman, SC along with nieces and nephews, Shannon, Donnie Jr. , Christopher, Tony, Clint, Amber, Hailey, Hayden, Kayla, Mason and expecting nephew, Daniel Maddox in February of 2018. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by niece, Monica and nephew, Micheal.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 2:00 - 2:45 PM at Seawright Funeral Home. A celebration of his life service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Seawright Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Jeremiah Childers. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Landrum, SC.
