Mr. Eddie "Bird" Ferguson passed away November 8, 2009 at the home of his mother Sylvia Curtis at 205 Lewis Drive, Wellford, SC. Born in Jonesborough, TN on October 21, 1958 he was the son of the late John Ferguson and Sylvia Holtsclaw Ferguson Curtis who survives him and stepson of the late Howard Curtis.
He is survived by 2 sons: Jeff and Chris Ferguson both of Inman, 2 sisters: Anna Mills and husband Bruce of Inman, Lisa Green of the home, companion: Ann Terry of the home, former wife, Lisa Turner Ferguson of Greer, 2 granddaughters: Emily and Jaden of Inman and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was employed by Pro Clean at Christ Church Episcopal Church in Greenville, SC.
Friends may call at the home of his mother Sylvia Curtis from 6-9 PM Thursday. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2009 at the Christ Church Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Greenville conducted by Father Richard Grimball, Chaplain Joe Britt and Chaplain Valarie Riddle
