Dr. Jason Michael Koepke

Dr. Jason Michael Koepke, 41, of Union, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024. 

Born in Springville, New York on November 13, 1982, he was a son of Sue (Manhardt) Thomas and the late Thomas William Edwin Koepke and was the husband of Mandy Leigh (Kind) Koepke.

Dr. Koepke was a graduate of Jonesville High School. After high school he attended North Greenville College where he received his Bachelor's of Education Degree, Converse College (Master's Degree) and the University of South Carolina for his Doctorate. 

Dr. Koepke was the principal of Forest Heights Elementary School and was the founder of Palmetto Corporeal Transport.  

Jason was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was a man of God who always prayed for others and was a huge encouragement to EVERYONE he met. 

In addition to his wife Mandy and his mother, Sue, he is survived by two sons, Nathan Koepke and Luke Koepke; his daughter, Kylie Koepke; two brothers, Justin Koepke and Ethan Koepke; one sister, Erin Koepke; father-in-law and mother-In-law, Clay and Donna Kind; brother-in-law, Charlie Kind and his wife Kala; four nieces, Ensley, Emary, Kyra and Elizabeth and one nephew, Hunter.  He was predeceased by one nephew, Easton Rhett Kind.  

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:30 PM at First Baptist Spartanburg. 

Funeral Services will follow at 4:30 PM at First Baptist Spartanburg with Dr. Mike Harder, Rev. Greg Springsteen and Rev. Brad Goodale officiating. Interment will be in Heritage Memorial Gardens in Roebuck, South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Koepke Scholarship Fund for Nathan, Luke and Kylie, 916 Lyday Lane, Inman, South Carolina 29349.   The family is at the home.
