Dorothy Shrum Wensell

Dorothy Jane (Shrum) Wensell, 84, of 210 Midway Drive passed away Tuesday, November 25th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Wensell was born in Derry, PA on January 30, 1930, and was the daughter of the late James Shrum and Florence (Jenkins) Hartman. She was the widow of Edward W. Wensell, Sr. and was a retired CNA. She enjoyed worshiping at Liberty Baptist Church in Inman and shared a real joy for the young people of the church.
She is survived by three sons, Edward W. Wensell, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Attala, Alabama, Daniel M. Wensell and his wife Beverly of Spartanburg, and Brian K. Wensell and his wife Rita of Palm Bay, Fl. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Phyllis Yellets and her husband Lyle of Blairsville, PA., and Ruthie Bennett of Irwin, PA. There are 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Caroline Shrum.
Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 29th, with Dr. David Duncan and Rev. Daniel Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. The family will be at their respective homes.
