Dorothy Ann Drake Stone, 68, of 845 Campobello-Gramling School Road, Campobello, SC, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at her home. Dorothy was born in Fort Knox, Ky on April 23, 1949, a daughter of Mary Frances (Bentley) Drake, of Gowensville and the late Charles Drake. She was the wife of Jim Stone, a homemaker and was a member of Cathy's Creek Baptist Church in Brevard, NC. In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by two daughters, Teresa DeAngelo, of Lyman; Tonya Smalley, of Campobello; a sister, Donna Bowser, of Gowensville; four brothers, Charles Drake, of Chesnee; Danny Drake, of Campobello; Tommy Drake, of Gowensville; Frankie Drake, of Inman, four grandchildren, Mikey DeAngelo, James Smalley, Hope Simpson, Sheranne Smalley and one great grandson, Jaiden DeAngelo. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ellen Martin. A memorial service will be held at her home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 701 Grove Road, ISC-3rd Floor, Greenville, SC 29605.
