Dorothy Helen Owens, 91, of Country Club Road, Spartanburg and formerly of Neighborhood Drive in Wellford passed away Wednesday, March 27th, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Greenville on April 30, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Leola and William Burch.
She was the widow of Arthur Grady Owens.
She retired from Firestone Steel Products and was a member of Inman First Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Larry Owens of Pacolet, Marvin Owens of Duncan, one sister, Shirley Loshure of Aiken, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 1:00PM on Friday, March 29th, with Rev. Stephen Owens and Rev. Ralph Jett officiating. The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
