Dorothy Phillips Martin, 88, of 300 Earl Dr. Spartanburg, S.C, passed away Wednesday, June 7th, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Dorothy was born in Cherokee County, S.C. on June 26, 1928, a daughter of the late Annie Mae Fowler Phillips and Cline G. Phillips. She was the widow of John E Martin.
She was a homemaker and a member of Abner Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter; Denise Sandstrum of Baton Rouge, La., a special niece; Dianne Phillips Crook of Spartanburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by two sons; Donald Ray Reaves and Gary Daniel Reaves.
Graveside services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC, at 11:00 am on Friday, June 9th, with Chaplain Andrew Fischer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home 686 Jeff Davis Drive Spartanburg, SC 29303 or Whitten Center in Clinton, S.C.
