Dorothy Johnson Hunnicutt, 85, of 462 Woodland Ave, Inman, SC, passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Dorothy was born in Spartanburg County, SC on November 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Horace and Nettie (Johnson) Johnson. She was the widow of Claude "CJ" Hunnicutt, retired from Abbott Laboratories and was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Kim Marlow (James), of Inman; two sisters, Thelma Jolley, of Inman; Martha Bartsch, of Spartanburg; three brothers, Donnie Johnson, of Inman; Ray Johnson, of Inman, J Harold Johnson, of Montgomery, NY., great granddaughter, Farrah Marlow of Inman and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Caleb Marlow , two sisters and two brothers. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lake Bowen Baptist Church, Inman, SC, with Rev. Mark Williams and Rev Roland Dry officiating. The family is at the home of her sister, Thelma at 3 McMillin Circle, Inman and will receive friends Monday at the church immediately following the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Farrah Marlow College Fund at any First Citizens Bank.
