Doris Elizabeth Walkowicz

 Doris Elizabeth Cochran Walkowicz, 95, of 282 Lakefront Road, Inman, SC, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at her residence. 

Doris was born in Inman, SC on June 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Marie Elizabeth (Rogers) Cochran and George Franklin Cochran.

She was the widow of Stanley Walkowicz and was first married to the late Neil W. Moon, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Inman First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Lydia/Faith Sunday school class.

Doris is survived by two sons, Brian Moon, of Spartanburg; Neil "Lindy" Moon, Jr., of Inman; a daughter, Kathy Black, of Inman; a sister, Rose Waldrop, of Chesnee; a brother, David "Pee Wee" Cochran, of Inman, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Barnette and Peggy Rush.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 2, 2023 at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Rev Jeff Cochran and Dr. Paul Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 PM.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Corner of Hope, 14 N. Howard Street, Inman, SC 29349.
