Doris Louise Carolus Ritz, 47, of 201 Gallman Road Inman, passed away peacefully Friday, October 20th, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Doris was born in Huntingdon, PA on May 17, 1970, a daughter of Alma Crawford Carolus, of Inman and the late John Milton Carolus and was the wife of Rick Ritz. Doris was a graduate of Converse College receiving her BA in business and finance. She was an administrative associate at Inman First Baptist Church Child Development Center and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Inman. She had been active in United Methodist Women, the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Choir, formerly a Sunday School teacher at Inman United Methodist Church; and a former employee in the Inman branches of First Citizens Bank and Bank of America.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is also survived by her step children and their families; Robert Ritz and wife Kim of Charleston; Jeremy Ritz and wife Brandy of Inman and their children, Caleb and wife Erin, Natalie and Aaron; Eric Ritz and wife Sonia of Inman and their children, Josie Roberts, and Mason Ritz; Amanda Wilson and husband Steve of Inman and their children, Johnson, Keilyn, and Colin Wilson; and a step sister, Myra Bowling of Centre, PA,
The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 1:00 until 2:45 PM at Inman First Baptist Church.
A celebration of her life will be held at Inman First Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 28th, with Rev. Jeremiah Childers and Rev. Ed Stallworth and Rev. Gary Byrd officiating.
In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church Choir Fund, 690 Park Rd Inman, SC 29349.
