Doris Nodine, 83, of 945 Goodjoin Road, Campobello, SC, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at her home.
Doris was born in Inman on August 21, 1931, a daughter of the late Nellie Sitton Cox and L.G. Cox and was the widow of William "Bill" Nodine.
She retired from at Butte Knitting Company and was a member of Motlow Creek Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class.
She is survived by two sons; Ronnie Nodine (Elaine) of Campobello, Roger Nodine (Janice) Nashville, TN, three daughters; Connie Stone (Donnie) of Campobello, Linda Adams (Dan) of Campobello, Kathy Marlow (Otto II) of Ramseur, NC, one sister; Evelyn Bramlett of Inman, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by three brothers; John Cox, Edward Cox, Junior "Dube" Cox, and three sisters; Frances Cox, Carolyn Welchel, and Jean Walters.
The family is at the home and will receive friends Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 2:00 until 3:00 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Motlow Creek Baptist Church at 3:00 on Tuesday, September 30th, with Rev. Terry Raney officiating. Burial will follow in Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
