Doris Loftis McCarter, 94, of 14 Wofford Street in Inman, died Monday, December 13, 2021, at Regional Hospice Home in Spartanburg.
Mrs. McCarter was born in Inman on December 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Dovie Jane Skinner Loftis and Lee Roy Loftis. She was the widow of William Dean McCarter, Sr. She was a homemaker and was a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, had served as a Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the TEL Sunday School Class,
She is survived by two sons: Billy McCarter of Inman, and Randy McCarter and his wife, Kelli, of Inman.
Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 16th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 16th at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Hames officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Inman Mills Baptist Church Building Fund, 22 B Street, Inman, SC 29349.
