Doris Mae Franklin

Doris Mae Strickland Franklin, 93, of 855 Halls Bridge Road, Campobello, SC, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at her residence.

Doris was born in Okeechobee, Florida on May 7, 1930, a daughter of the late Stella (Brown) Strickland and Ben Patton Strickland.

She was the wife of Clyde R Franklin and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC. She was formerly employed at Community Cash.

In addition to her husband, Doris is  survived by a daughter, Linda Franklin, of Campobello, SC; two sisters, Oneida Williams, of Longwood, Florida; Harriett Strickland, of Jacksonville, Florida, two grandchildren, Robert David Lloyd and John Daniel Lloyd, two great grandchildren, Leah Alecia and Matthew Lloyd.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM on Saturday, December 9th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC 

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 9th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, SC  with Rev Jack Howard officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roloff Homes & Ministries,1355 FM 665 Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
