Doris Kathleen Davis Campbell, 87, of 4371 New Cut Road, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Doris was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 5, 1934, a daughter of the late Ralph Edgar Davis and Lethel Martin Davis. She was the widow of James E. "Bill" Campbell. They were married for sixty two years.
She was a former employee with St. Luke's Hospital and Milliken Corporation, a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the "Gramling Girls".
Doris is survived by two daughters, Paige Campbell and Darlene Thiel of Holiday, Florida; Tracey Fisk and her husband, Bruce of Columbia, South Carolina; three sons, Mike Campbell and his wife, Debbie of Inman, South Carolina; Drew Campbell and his wife, Andrea of Inman, South Carolina; and Tim Campbell and his wife, Pam of Inman, South Carolina. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Brittany Millwood and husband, Cameron, Brad Campbell, Will Campbell, John Campbell, Blake Sutton, Lauren Sanders and husband, Jonathan, Heather Johnson and husband, Jamie, Hollie Houston, Hope Smith and husband, Mason, Brandon Campbell and Ally Campbell; and four great-grandchildren, Elle Johnson, Emma Johnson, Shelby Millwood and Emma Kate Smith.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Campbell was predeceased by a son, Miles Campbell and two brothers, Donald and James Davis
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Inman Mills Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Inman Mills Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Henry Johnson. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, South Carolina..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Miles Campbell Scholarship Fund, Supporters of District #1 Schools, PO Box 218, Campobello, SC 29322. The family is at the residence. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the sister she never had, Joan Turner, Kelly Hawkins and to Comfort Keepers.
