Dora Mae Shockley Babb, 83, of 3641 New Cut Road, Inman, SC, passed away Saturday, April 21st, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Dora was born in Greenville, SC on December 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Macie (Hoxit) and Marion Ulysses Shockley.
She was a homemaker and a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church.
Dora is survived by a daughter, Lynn Crowe, of Spartanburg; a sister, Marian Shockley, of Inman; a granddaughter, Ashley Ghowanlu of Moore, a grandson, Julian Crowe of Inman, 4 great grandchildren, Austin, Lauren and Grayson Crowe and Ethan Ghowanlu.
She was predeceased by two sons: David and Curt Babb
The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at the Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, SC, at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 24th, with Rev. Jack Hames and Mr Keith Fain officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman, SC.
In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Charles Lea Center Foundation, 195 Burdette Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
