Donnie L Edwards, 67, of 101 Hammond Street, Bonneau, SC, formerly of Inman passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at his home. Donnie was born in Spartanburg, SC on July 2, 1951, a son of the late William L and Lucille (Malone) Edwards. He was a graduate of Chapman High School and was the owner and operator of the Scuba Center in Inman, a Woodmen and a US Coast Guard certified boat captain. He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing and reading. He retired as plant engineer at Inman Mills, Saybrook Plant. He was a member of Lake Bowen Baptist Church in Inman. Donnie is survived by 5 sisters, Mary Williams, Sara Creech, both of Spartanburg, Sybil Brewington, Mildred Henson and Frances Bass, all of Inman. He was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Ray Edwards. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, July 10th at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, SC. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 11th at Seawright Funeral Chapel in Inman, SC with Rev Brad Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Lake Bowen Baptist Church Cemetery in Inman, S.C..
