Donna Shirlene Jenkins Dunn, 84, of 300 Gramling School Road, passed away Friday, June 19, 2020, at her residence. Donna was born in Windsor Heights, West Virginia on July 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Jenkins and Goldena Ella Brown Jenkins. Mrs. Dunn was a graduate of the College of Steubenville and received her master's degree in education from West Virginia University. She was a retired educator, having served over thirty years, with the Buckeye School Districts.
She was a member of Rush Run United Methodist Church in Rush Run, Ohio, where she had several roles, serving on the board of trustees., former choir director, and a former Sunday School teacher. Donna was also a member of the National Education Association.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by two daughters, Pamela D. Jones and her husband Larry, of Inman, South Carolina; Kelli D. Summers, of Inman, South Carolina; two sisters, Sandra Kay Doak and her husband, Stanley, of Weirton, West Virginia; and Nancy Carol Dunn, of Yorkville, Ohio.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Karissa Jones Krivicich, Hilary Summers-Royce and her husband, James, Justin Lee Jones, Lindsay M. Summers; one great-grandchild, Alexis M. Krivicich and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by two sisters, Jacqueline Jenkins Evans and Joann Jenkins Coss.
Due to the Covid -19 pandemic, at this time the family has postponed all services, until futher notice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association SC Chapter 4124 Clemson Blvd., Suite L Anderson, SC 29621. The families are at their respective homes.
