Donald Lee Powell Sr., 78, of Spartanburg passed away Sunday, June 6th, at his home .
Donald was born in, Kokomo, Indiana on March 9, 1943. He was a son of the late Raymond Andrew and Gladys Ratcliff Powell.
He is survived by his wife Susan Kadlec Powell, and their son Donald Lee Powell Jr. and was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne Powell, and Max Powell.
He was an ordained minister who led various churches through the years, while also taking time to home school his son, Donnie. He was a very active and supportive member of Liberty Baptist Church In Inman,SC.
Visitation will be at Liberty Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10:00 until 10:45 am, with Memorial Service following at 11:00 am. Burial will be private, at a later time.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Liberty Baptist Church Youth Fund, 980 Bishop Road Inman, SC 29349.
