Donald Paul Carr

Inman, SC – Don Carr, 86, of Inman, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. Born, November 7, 1930, in Bangor, Maine, he was the son of the late Howard Carr and Margaret H. Bubar and step son of Earl Bubar. He is survived by his Wife, Margaret Cantrell Carr, and a dear friend of the family, Vicki Estep, of the home. His children, Donny Carr (Angel), Peggy Williams (Eddie) and Jackie Reynolds. Step children, Jackie Cantrell, Donnie Cantrell and Todd Cantrell (Michelle). Nine grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. He was a loving and giving husband, father, step father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many. He served in the Army, Air Force, as a pastor, Mason and a Shriner and had a business of his own for a time. He also worked with a friend, Allan LaRobardier, in sales. In his late years he enjoyed spending time at his home and time with his family. Visitation and services will be conducted at Little Mountain Baptist Church, 1302 Little Mountain Road, Wellford, SC 29385 by the Rev. Doug Godfrey and Michael Owenby. Services will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 – visitation 2:00-2:30 PM and service 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations maybe made to Little Mountain Baptist Church Building Fund, 1302 Little Mount Road, Wellford, SC 29385. The family will be at the home.
