Domenick Massei 82, passed away on September, 14, 2009. Born on December 4, 1926 in Trenton, NJ to Felice and Angela Massei. He had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Today he leaves behind 2 sisters, Rita Harper and Lucy Brancelli and several nieces and nephews.
He married Martha Mende while stationed in the army in Germany in which he served his country for 3 years. He and his wife then moved back to NJ and he went to work for US Steel were he retired. He touched many lives in his life. He and his wife opened up there home to college students. He has several nieces and nephews in which he was a blessing to them as well, he loved them all very much.. ..they were like his own because he and his wife never had children of their own. But then Domenick touched lives wherever he lived. His last year's was spent in a nursing home in Moundville, AL and everyday there was laughter where you would find Domenick. He loved them all and they loved him. He lived his Lord and Savior and knew that his day was nearing that God would send his angel to take him home and on September 14, God did just that. He will be truly missed but we rejoice knowing that he now lives with his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. Monty King.
