Dianne "Charley" Suttle, born August 8, 1943, passed away in her sleep early Monday morning, November 13, 2017 after a brief struggle with cancer. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby DeYoung Suttle. She was an accomplished singer and pianist; a lifelong Green Bay Packer's fan, a target shooter, a gourmand, and world traveler who loved driving her convertibles with the top down. A Siemens employee for more than twenty years, she was as well known for her wit as for her bright red hair. In addition to her co-workers, whom she considered family, she is survived by sons, Kieran Michael C. Brown; Andrew William Brown; a daughter, Victoria Brown Burnett; grandsons, Quentin, Kevin, Joey, Kees; a granddaughter, Lauren and a brother, Michael B. Suttle.
The family will hold a celebration of life memorial at Delaney's Irish Pub this Saturday, November 18, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations on her behalf to her favorite charity, www.heifer.org.
